Memo from Mother Earth

memo from mother earth_graphicA one-act tragicomedy by Frederick Timm © 2010

An introduction:  Mother Earth ends up homeless on the streets of New York City.  Gasping for life, she convinces a conventional young man, an earthling, to become a prophet to save her from humans, who have become an unconscious breeding machine, an overpopulating menace.  “Don’t start a family,” she exhorts, “start a movement!”  Thus begins their mission…

Production historyMemo from Mother Earth has been read at HB Studio (where I taught movement for actors for fifteen years) in Greenwich Village, New York City.
